I'm trying to make a custom HUD, and I can't seem to change the font of the scoreboard (names, pings, etc.). Anyone know a fix around this?

Open resource/ClientScheme.res

Find ScoreboardVerySmall, ScoreboardSmall, ScoreboardMediumSmall, ScoreboardMedium. There's a few others as well.

I couldn't tell you which one changes those because I change them all at the same time, but if you mess around with those you'll find out which one.

Hm. That didn't seem to work. Even though it seems like it should.

You might have to restart TF2 for changes to take hold.

I restarted directly after.

yaHUD has customized scoreboard fonts by what I see. http://i.imgur.com/uyKRpfB.jpg

What Goat_ means is that you have to open up ClientScheme.res, find the font definition at the very top of the fonts section labeled "default", and change the font/size there.

So for my HUD it looks like this:
