Don't think we could have asked for anything better. Full day of matches, generally went smoothly, good casting, good matches, upsets, and an insane grand final showcasing 2 amazing teams. So much to be said for Zowie giving us a chance to shine. Big thanks to everyone involved. Hope we can have more experiences like these in the future.

that spawn wave manipulation ... although it doesn't seem to have any effect in this case? Do wave times only get bumped when possession switches from one team to another, rather than capturing an uncapped point?

honestly we were just as confused as you are. i yelled at squid and enigma to get off the cap but with banny pushing them they had to cap before we could spawn. somehow it didn't effect our spawns which i don't really understand.

My random guess is that tf2 rounds down regarding to the bump because I've seen 3-4 second spawns get pushed up due to capping, and I've seen 1-3 second spawns remain the same. So maybe they just fudge the math and round down so if you're most of the way through your 1-3 seconds of respawning, it'll just let you spawn instead of your timer being in fractions of a second and bumping you up.
