i'm buying a laptop soon and considering an ultrabook but i want to be able to play tf2 some. i've always played on chris's maxframes so i'll be using that regardless of what the computer is capable of. my main question is for those of you with laptops an integrated graphics cards, what kind of framerate do you get? if you could say what processor you have too that'd be awesome

I used to play on this laptop
I would get between 90-170 fps. This depended on how long I was playing and how hot it was running. If I would play on a desk then I would get ~140-150 fps. And that was with a 2nd gen i7. Integrated graphics on any i5 ultrabook today should get you as much if not more. I don't recommend playing in a bed though, makes for bad cpu temperatures LOL
Another thing to consider is battery life, I don't get anymore than 2.5 - 3 hours max off of the charger. Again, that was with an i7 though, but it is something to consider.

i would stick with at least an i5 4th gen if you are dealing with integrated graphics. some ultrabooks include a dedicated graphics card so i would keep an eye out for those especially, because a dedicated card hands down is best for gaming. this guy does a pretty good review about it. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AM5lAQq7w5k

My laptop had an i3 m370 @ 2.4GHz. Probably worse than the worst processor you can find today on any laptop. It ran around 30-40 fps in pubs with 24 people, and around 60-80 fps in 6s games.
