I need a new mousepad since my Xtrac is worn out and no longer comfortable for me to use. I want something that is cloth but is really slow to move your mouse through. The best way for me to put it is if you were to turn your mousepad upside down and use that rubber surface, that super slow and grippy texture is what i'm going for. Not as sluggish as that feeling, but something that is close to it. I've used Razer Goliathus control and speed, Puretrak Talent, QCKs, and Zowie TF. All of those just haven't felt right. I've looked at some artisan pads since they might be what I'm looking for. Any input would be appreciated.

The artisan pads are the exact opposite of what you're looking for. They're really fast and almost frictionless in the four different ones i've tried.

Kind of hard to find a high friction mousepad if the Goliathus Control doesn't feel right. Mostly every mousepad out there is made to be as slick as possible.

Have you tried 3mm-5mm gravel?

You can get a ripper on Ebay if you just want to replace your xtrac
http://www.ebay.com/sch/?_nkw=Xtrac%20ripper&clk_rvr_id=403154727023
Unless you're unhappy with the surface and just waited until it needed to be replaced to get a new one. In that case, i'm gonna show myself out.
