This is a long shot but I am looking for someone who is quite knowledgeable about APUSH and is willing to help me on my summer assignment. I have 16 general questions to answer with a paragraph each and I'd like someone to just make sure that what I'm writing makes sense. I'm sorry if I've wasted anyone's time

I have a history degree and was the history tutor for my college back before aforementioned degree lol.

I could pry help I'd assume lol. The US isn't my specialty but I could pry handle anything a HS course would throw at you lol.

You should paste all your answers in this thread.

That way a raging debate will start. Those are always fun.

That was the 2011 DBQ iirc, teachers and tutors and shit aren't suppose to know about the questions but we end up finding em anyways, the documents were awful, and nixon's era generally isn't suppose to be used for documents since there's a lot of things got classified stamps thrown onto them, and the information in general about his terms is cloudy. That question was a bitch, even if your teacher had met the curriculum you'd probably have to infer and bullshit a lot of it.

This kid sucks at history. He thought that the Byzantines were only outnumbered 12-1 at the siege of Constantinople. Can you be any more ignorant?

PacifistHijack and if someone is good at APWH can they help me memorize a map?

Hey. I just took my first AP US map quiz and here's a couple tips.

http://www.ilike2learn.com/ - this is a REALLY, REALLY good site for memorizing maps. I am a horrible studier, but to me, this feels as close to a fun game as studying gets. Warning, though, that it doesn't have all the major NA rivers, but it does have most of them.

-Seriously, create your own mnemonics or stupid little sayings and connections to remember chains of countries in continents you don't know. Don't use someone else's. It is so, so much more memorable than stealing someone else's. When I say stupid sayings, I mean like "The Slave River looks like a pair of handcuffs" or how "Yemen, Oman" sounds like "Yeah man, no man" with a Jamaican accent.

-If you're memorizing a world map, or multiple types of maps (like countries vs mountains vs bodies of water, times like two or three continents), don't bash your head against one map until you get it down perfectly. It's frustrating, and you'll forget it all anyway. Keep alternating between maps until you nail it.

-SONGS ARE AWESOME. I learned the States and Capitals song in like 4th grade and I remember it to the extent that I just randomly start singing it when bored in the car on vacation. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sNUDDaEOvuY

Seriously, don't cram it all in in one night. It's not impossible, it's just really exhausting.
