My pc broke yesterday and now i have to use a laptop. I tried playing with its keyboard, but it's not very comfortable, so I attached my pc keyboard to laptop with ps2/usb connector. The w button works perfectly outside the game, but ingame if i use other button at the same time as using w, it stops working and i have to click it again. Basically i can't use other buttons when using w. Any tips?

PS the same problem occurs with wasd button. Can't use both at the same time.

Oh god please don't follow the same path as Freestate and compare something offensive or controversial to your gaming peripherals. :(

Am I missing something? Because i have no idea why you people are offtoping, If the thread name is offencive or something, a mod can change it, all i wanted to ask if you might know a solution to fix my wasd buttons issue.

It's happening because PS2>USB adapters are "aids". Get a USB keyboard or use the laptop one, the problem is not fixable.

I have a USB keyboard and it also happens. Sometimes a few keys block eachother and i can't switch weapons ingame or move properly.
edit: it started happening like a week and a half ago. also, for some reason, whenever windows boots, it's like Enter is being pressed constantly

It would be kind if you guys stopped being the morals police on the internet and helped this guy but w/e

Ghosting is different, what #10 is experiencing means his keysboard has a small KRO (Key Roll Over). Most USB Membrane keyboards have around a 4KRO.

No idea why the enter key problem happens. Have you tried the usual remedies? (Unplugging and replugging keyboard, taking off the enter key and cleaning it etc.) It's weird it would only happen on boot. Try a different keyboard to see if it happens. Are you pressing the enter key a lot during startup? It's possible (though highly unlikely) that the keystrokes are being stored in the buffer and being unleashed on the login screen.

Yes, i've tried those. And no, i dont even touch the keyboard during startup. My only guess is that my keyboard is dying and i need to buy another one (its a cheap genius so it doesnt matter)

Shameless, obligatory mechanical keyboard plug.

If you ever need help picking a keyboard or anything like that, shoot me a message on Steam
