I've never seen it in action but my friend says he has and it really works

Futurology

I especially liked the part where they pour mustard right over that guy's nipples. Must be a fetish or somewhat

“This cardboard box I chose to hold all of the water is just not doing a great job of it! :(”

“I wish my iPhone 4 or 5 would not get so damaged every time I carefully place it at the bottom of a jug filled with water!”

you have got to be kidding me. these are the most dumb quotes ever.

They have a FAQ .pdf on their site which touches on this:

4) Is NeverWet safe?
When used according to the directions, absolutely. With exception of the solvents in the topcoat, the key ingredients in the Top Coat are all used in food products. (Yes, you have eaten them.) The base coat materials, minus the solvents, are also non-toxic polymers. While the surfaces we create are nano-textured, there are no nano-particles as a part of this formulation.

I wouldn't trust the description of a manufacturer on a chemical that I might have on my clothes or even furniture that has contact with food. I can see it being useful for car coatings and such though.

you should still probably avoid putting it on things you eat or things you use to eat.

I wonder if I could put this on a friend's towel so they'd think they are going crazy when they can't wipe off the water.

CyanideI wonder if I could put this on a friend's towel so they'd think they are going crazy when they can't wipe off the water.

the towel could still knock the water off your body instead of absorbing it
