The connection to the board isn't the problem. The problem is the ultra-light cable that is contorted to fit in a tiny cable channel with poor stabilization. I've fixed several of them now and the problem has always been within the cable, not with the connector.

MaxHaxAnybody still got a mx518? Love that mouse, still works.

Believe it or not, but my grandpa (He's 70-something years old) owns a MX518 in very good condition. He also has a caming PC for some reason.

My G400 failed (the god damn cord issue) right when they stop producing it, so I got a G400s as replacement 1 month afterwards, and I haven't get the broken g400 back. I cant feel any difference at all, may be its lighter but I forgot about the weight of g400 in that month. The cord is still thin, the mouse foot still sometimes wear off a bit and cut my goliathus control edition. I just cant feel any difference.
