I got to tryout the Oculus rift at work, not for TF2 specifically sadly just the demos for gameplay and it's pretty awesome to say the least.

intercom in my building doesn't work.

oculus only notified me that it shipped right now, when according UPS tracking it left the UK two days ago and UPS tried to deliver it to my apartment this afternoon, when I was there. UPS isn't open at the weekend.

Yeah, I've tried a couple of them. None of them feel "just right", so I think you just have to get used to it.
