Not the Dell.
The Acer has a better processor but the Asus has a better GPU.

FogASUS all the way

This, only one with a decent graphics card, but the processor kinda sucks. I wouldn't expect good performance out of any of the three, though.

You'd probably benefit more from a better processor than gpu for TF2.

Not to the point that a intel gpu is good enough. Intel gpus can barely run halflife.

The Acer will be the fastest. GPUs are basically the same performance. CPUs are drastically different.

I would get the acer
The acer is bottlenecked by GPU
The Asus is bottlenecked by CPU
TF2, and other source games are more dependent on CPU.
I would get the acer if I were you.

CopperSide GPUs are basically the same performance.

Good joke. Ever actually try to use hd4000 graphics for anything beyond web browsing? Decent A-series APUs can play any current game (not just shitty source games that it can max) on medium settings at native rez.

Source: I owned both (sold the one with intel graphics)The AMD APU can run TF2 with over 200 FPS with High frames. I never tried it without.

I hear this a lot, but I don't really understand why it's the case. Can anyone explain?

The source engine, like many old engines, was created before GPUs became really popular and powerful. Source is about 95% CPU and 5% GPU in terms of requirements. More modern games have more of a 50-50 balance going on.

I know the asus has the worst CPU for tf2, but i stumbled upon a video with a laptop (hp pavillon g7 2335dx) and the specs look about the same.
Here's the video:

The only difference i notice is that you can add 4gb more ram to the HP, but how much of a difference will that make?

Integrated graphics is totally fine for TF2. I compared my Intel graphics to a dedicated card and noticed no difference between them.

I would go with something with a a10. It wouldn't cost much more.
I have a friend that plays on a old firstgen APU.
Aether CPU is more then enough for TF2 however if you ever intend on doing anything that is not TF2 our if you want to use a little bit of AA there is no contest. Not to mention intels horrible drivers. Go with the AMD APU.

That's a good build for a decent price. It will run tf2 pretty smoothly.

This build can run CS:GO at high/ultra at around ~50 frames.

Good specs but i would try to find a Levono for the sake of build quality.

At some point Valve decided to utilize CPU resources the most because average consumer PC's have much better CPU's included than GPU's.

Okay, i've raised my budget a bit more. i don't think the toshiba was the best so..

I found these two :

http://store.acer.com/store/acerna/en_US/pd/productID.258312300/parentCategoryID.60766600/
and
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16834215663

I saw the acer also show up in a YT vid.(starring TF2 ofc)

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=efbMv_vLrJY

Which one do you recommend?

The i5 Acer has a superior cpu and gpu, so between those two I'd go for that one.
