Hey there, I was wondering what are some good fight sticks? Planning to hop on some fighter games for PS3. Not looking to spend a huge amount but was checking out this one just on the price http://www.amazon.ca/PS3-Real-Arcade-Pro-KAI/dp/B008CLQGCK/ref=sr_1_5?s=videogames&ie=UTF8&qid=1367197757&sr=1-5&keywords=HORI .

Thanks in advance.

Unless you already understand the fundamentals of the game as a pad player, buying a stick wont help you a whole lot, but if you do understand the game, that seems like a fine stick to use

Housing is a bit lighter than other mass market sticks and people tend to be divided on the sloping wrist rest, but otherwise it's a very solid budget option - already has Sanwa lever + buttons, which is as good as it gets for the parts.

I usually tell people interested in buying a stick to wait for fighting game majors, since retailers always run promo codes that can save you a good amount of money. But I'm not sure if they're all valid for Canada...

If you aren't used to a stick its gonna be weird as hell while you get used to it. I'm a tekken player, and since there hasn't been a decent arcade in my area for YEARS I've just been using the ps3 controller for a long time. I recently got a stick and I was so damn rusty with it. I ended up returning it because I honestly prefer a controller now.

If you want to get a stick just remember you get what you pay for. Also keep in mind that you don't NEED a stick to be good. I've played against some of the top tekken players in the country stick vs. controller and it's never really one sided one way or the other.
