I have been playing MGE scout vs scout for 5 years now. Finally accepting that I dont got it in me. Ive been trying to reach 2300 elo for years, was stuck at 1700 elo for 3 years, then I reached 2180 when I learned everything, compared my aim to other players by watching demos and so on, but I have now changed settings 1 trillion times, and I recently realized its a gambling addiction and it´s not helping at all. I can see when I watch my demos that my aim remains 90% the same no matter what I do, no matter what mouse or settings I use. I even noticed that my movement pattern never changes as well. I have the same movement, and I am stuck with it, which just proves again that changing settings doesn´t affect your ability to aim and move that much. I depend alot on my movement when I aim, because I struggle with aiming, so I always have to move a certain way in order to land shots. I do these long strafes right and left constantly, because I struggle with tracking and micro adjustments and so on, and no matter what I do, I can´t stop moving like this, otherwise I won´t hit any shots. If I don´t move like this, none of my shots will hit. I don´t naturally use my arm when I aim at all either, my wrist is glued to the table. Many of the best players use their arm in some way, I don´t. My brothers aim and movement doesn't change either when he changes settings, but hes already 2300 elo, that's why he never changes settings, because aiming just feels natural to him. I have tested trillions of mice as well, mousepads, hopefully this inspires someone whos also addicted to QUIT. I can´t aim like others, and everyone is unique. The best players have been good for decades without trying at all. I recently lost to an old MGE player with 3 hours in 2 weeks, who hadn´t played for almost 10 years as well. It´s blatant at this point, how easy it is for some people. Some people can just aim in their sleep, and others literally can´t like me. I remember changing settings constantly in 2014 as well, history really just repeats itself.
Edit: I just watched yumyum play on youtube, and I realized that I am literally incapable of moving like he does, and aim like that. I literally cannot move the crosshair like that. Movement is so important and yumyum just proves that.

I don´t seem to be able to have accuracy and good movement at the same time.
Anyways, to sum all of this up: During my 5 years of aiming, I failed to change my aim and my movement. I was only able to change it by 10 to 20%. Both aim and movement are inherent issues with my aim and no matter the trillions of mice, settings and mousepads I tested, none of it helped at all. And even if I did manage to change my aim and my movement a bit, then every single time I would struggle alot with accuracy. My crosshair just does not move anything alike to other players, and my movement is weird as well. I have even recorded all of this, and these are the results. All roads really just lead down to mouse control, and I believe this is what is the issue here. Aim and movement is the same, because you can´t move like somebody else and hit the same shots as he does. Your aim allows you to move in unique ways.
So if you want to improve your aim, you should only focus on mouse control. Not settings or gear. I have a friend who can play 20 times better on their other friends setup than they can. Even using same settings as well. It does not matter what setup the best players play on, they will always perform better. The way to realize this is by comparing aim on demos.

brother ive seen you play, u're kinda good but i think u need to go back to basics and get some coaching if you geniuly want to improve. just looping on mge and not having a healthy life outside isnt gonna work.
