For some reason my in-game character model "stutters" (for lack of a better word). It has been doing this for a long time and I have no idea why. Here's a video I made to demonstrate:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=jkvbUgbZwDs

i can't figure out why it does this or how to fix it. it's done this across two computers as well.

I -think- it's to do with interp and network settings, I've seen people with 5ms latency get the same problem. Just play with those till it fixes itself i guess.

i use chris's low network settings, would this cause it?

trevJust an ineye demo bug, happens in CS aswell.

i just tried it in CS too, does the same thing, and i run no FPS configs in CS:S or anything like that.

i'll just submit a ticket to steam support and hope for the best.

All you have to do is to lower your max fpa to 132 via fps_max 132 , that should help with the demo stuttering.

Open net_graph 5 and try to interpret what the graph and numbers tell you?
Perhaps your connection to the server was shitty. Try recording from a listen server and compare.

I think it's because of your network settings.
Perhaps cl_smooth. Have you looked into it?

this happens on every single server i go on and i usually have a fine connection. should cl_smooth be enabled or disabled?

Mess around with your lerp.
Since demo's have no restriction on cl_interp, whereas most servers do, you're playing the demo back in a different lerp to when you recorded it.

Just mess around with it until you're playing it back at the lerp in which you recorded it.
