Edited the folders so spaces are replaced by underscores, allowing you to simply put the whole folder in /tf/ and play them directly through the demo playback feature.
Thanks to zigzter

Will the aim be "off" when watching a POV in the STV and is there a way to fix it?

BentomatWill the aim be "off" when watching a POV in the STV and is there a way to fix it?

Yes, the aim will be slightly "off". I'll even explain why!

There are two main reasons as to why watching a STV (be it live or demo) is less accurate than watching a POV:

1) STVs have either different or no lag compensation. A POV demo more is accurately lag compensated to what that player was seeing at the time, so everything matches up. The server will always see something slightly different, and a STV is only what the server sees. This does mean in theory that watching an STV of a LAN demo should be more accurate than watching a STV of an online match, but I've never actually tested this. Regardless, it is still noticable.

2) STVs run at a significantly lower tickrate than clients and servers. TF2 runs at 66 tick, but STVs only broadcast/record at 16 tick. (Ever notice how STV demos are smaller than POV demos, despite having "more" information? This is why.) The lower tickrate causes what you see to be much more interpolated and therefore much less accurate. This is also part of the reason why you generally set your cl_interp to a much higher value when watching an STV. The kind of cl_interp that you play at is far too low for 16 tick, and it causes noticable lag.
