Mastercomfig or Comanglia ?

I have a good PC, decided to stop using weird ass resolutions and just play with native.
I always used Mastercomfig low because it always seemed like its the best option however i saw during a HL scrim on product the FPS dipping under 110 which sucks since I use a 165Hz monitor.
Is comanglia better and more stable ? Am I doing something wrong ? My pc is pretty decent so its weird

Post specs. Good pc doesn't mean anything. If you fall under 110 fps in 6s your config is too high or you have mediocre specs.

if you have a good pc, for tf2 specifically, raising your graphics quality can give you better fps because reasons, so play around with other mastercomfig presets and see what gives you better fps

If you want frames use mastercomfig, if you want your game to feel nice use comanglia's.

completely anecdotal, but i have noticed intel cpus always get better performance than the amd equivalents for some strange reason. Also noticed that TF2 is almost entirely dependent on core speed instead of how many cores??? Might be me seeing patterns that dont exist, but I have tried several configs on tons of different computers with different graphics cards/ram and the processor seems to be the main thing that effects performance.

yeah I have the same rig except I got a 1660 super, I use a personalized/edited comanglias where I cranked some settings up that I like and it runs great

I think the best way I can elaborate is that I feel a little bit of input delay from mastercomfig but it can be due to placebo or the cfg not reacting too well with my pc, but it's up to you to tryout either of them.

i have ryzen 5 3600 with a 3060, also with 16gb of ram and ive found that my fps is the smoothest/most consistent with comanglia stability, although that could just be placebo
seeing as we have pretty similar specs, here are the benchmarks i did with this benchmark demo:

comanglia stability dx81

for me, comanglia stability on dx81 feels nicer than mastercoms low on 81, even tho its technically better
also included cinema cfgs just for comparison :D

Zhern those numbers seem very low. I have ryzen 5 2600 and 16 gigs memory along with a RTX 480 graphics card and with native resolution on my 144hz monitor I’m getting around 190 fps. It usually drops to like 90-120 during fights but still that’s more fps than your bechmarks.
