Hey guys Flippers here, as some of you may know, I am currently working on a new project, a community video! Now, I have found a little issue that I'm having some trouble finding a way around, finding music with no copyright issues. I feel like finding music with no copyright issues that is good to edit to and that i like is extremely hard to do. Therefore im calling upon the community to help me find good copyright free music! Post any music you feel should be used in the video, remember, the music MUST be copyright free. Thanks for all the help I really appreciate it, the person who suggested the music that will get used will be credited as well. Thanks again.

This might only slightly help, but I believe there are some non-copyright music here. I used a few songs from here in videos/frag edits: http://teamfortress.tv/forum/thread/5020/1

I see a lot of people using songs for http://incompetech.com/music/

I haven't looked through it, so I don't know if any of them are suited for a frag vid, but given the number of songs, there's probably a couple.

http://newgrounds.com has a pretty nice audio portal, and it's all pretty much copyright-free, as long as you don't make money off of it.

Edit- some examples of the kind of music you might find there:

the community vid will most likely be posted on commft where it will be commericalized.

Honestly, as long as the music you use isn't owned by a huge record label/artist, I don't think the copyright will be an issue. I've used a couple of copyrighted songs and never had anything happen because of it.

Also are you telling me you expect to make money out of your community video?

If the artist is "small" enough you pretty much just have to ask them since it's a win-win situation. You get your lovely song and he gets some much needed exposure
