It started this morning and it keeps playing every few seconds. I used an USB event logging tool and it showed me this

Using this site, i matched the ID with my laptops webcam.

I tried disabling the webcam in device manager but the connect/disconnect issue and the sound persists even when it's disabled (the camera goes from "this device isn't currently connected" to "this device is ready" or whatever every couple of seconds in device manager which I guess confirms the issue really is the webcam).

Anything I can do software wise to kill whatever port its connected to or do I need to straight up rip it out of my laptop?

do you not have an option to disable it in the BIOS?
