demos.tf plugin not working

so I made a pug/scrim server for me and my friends and for whatever reason demostf plugin refuses to work it responds with this error

"[SM Plugin demostf.smx failed to load: Required extension "curl" file("curl.ext") not running"
i installed curl but it literally refuses to load, i have no clue where to find curl.ext, any help?

As stated on the about page, you need the Sourcemod curl extension, not the system-package with the same name which I think you've installed.

You can download it here:

Extract the zip in your tf/addons/sourcemod/ directory.
