I've been wondering why they arent any payload maps for 6v6s, I found a great maps to be played on 6s and they usually were small, so why not play 6v6 payload or payload race ?

and watch this video about capture team, you only need 1 scout and 1 something else or maybe even pocket with pain train and medic

If you're pushing the cart at full speed, then a full third of your team has to sit by the cart not doing anything. Not fun.

Committing people to stand next to the cart and do nothing so you have a good capture time is very boring.

What if we had an A/D CTF map where we had to take a flag and drop it at some control points one after another?

I'd work on it if people want it.

I think one of the main traits of 6s are quick fast paced action (in cp maps at least) which will get fucked by pl maps.

There was a map like this, ctf_haarp, can't remember if it was good or not.

ctf_haarp is multistage and only has two caps per area instead of three or so, it also doesn't respawn the flag immediately on cap which makes the HUD freak out really hard and affects gameplay imo-badly
Same concept aside though yeah

Tug of war payload is the only form of payload I see viable in 6's; And the Highlander guys didn't enjoy it when someone turned Waste into it.

#12 I enjoyed it but then again I'm not a highlander guy.
It was basically single lane DotA.

#12 that map was one of the most painful experiences of my hl career, and I've also had to play haunt.
