Dude, don't be a complete dick and just pay the absolute minimum possible. You can even make your money go to charity so add a bit more...

i guess you're right ill pay 2 whole dollars i feel much better about myself now

Seriously though everyone is not made of money, which is why they set the minimum at $1 if you can donate/pay more then hopefully you will spare a little to help out. But if you can't well you can't but at least you gave something.

Alan Wake was fun. The game dragged on and on though, it should have been a bit shorter or introduced more mechanics later on. I'd say it's worth like 5 dollars at most.

tornados2111Dude, don't be a complete dick and just pay the absolute minimum possible. You can even make your money go to charity so add a bit more...

If the people who ran the bundle had a problem with people paying $1, they'd make the minimum higher. I don't feel bad about paying $1 for indie bundles because 1. I'm only slightly interested in the games and wouldn't be interested in them at all at a higher price. 2. I already own one or more games in most bundles. 3. I already make charitable contributions to organizations of my own choosing. There's no need to be condescending to people who choose to pay the allowed minimum.

Anyway, Allen Wake was pretty good and I felt it was worth the $7(?) I paid in the last summer sale.

Dece games, hopefully Remedy's new IP ends up as good if not better than Max Payne

Edit: "...a revolutionary entertainment experience that blurs the line between television and gameplay, developed exclusively for Xbox One."

I'm fairly certain you'll get it rounded up by whatever service you choose.

That might be why they say 1 dollar.

Alan Wake was really a terrific, fresh approach at telling a truly amazing story. I can hardly wait for a true sequel since American Nightmare was mediocre. Kurt don't know nothin' bout good games.

exactly yo. Amazingly written by Sam Lake (the face from Max Payne), inspired by Twin Peaks and Steven King works. Written like a game should be, using the same utilized finetuning movies and TV shows do, according to Sam Lake's breakdown of it (and certainly no joke for 5 years of development). To enjoy Wake you have to really get into it, otherwise it is kind of a lameo experience. It's like a book, you just have to read every individual page and understand that it isn't made to be the most gripping gameplay experience, just the best game experience.

Id be fine with paying $1 too, but I dont really have interest in the game. Digital copies and keys for games im pretty sure costs them nothing to distribute. If we were buying physical copies of the games that would be a totally different story.

So, I know the guy who runs the Humble Bundles (Jeff).

You shouldn't feel bad for paying whatever minimum. That's half of the point. YOU pay how much YOU want. Whether that means being as cheap as possible, whether that means $100 or $5000, any price is a good price. This is okay, because in this day and age, would you have bought Alan Wake for any other reason? More unlikely than it is likely (that's why PWYW works).

PWYW for the Humble Bundles works because it is incredibly cheap to distribute digitally. It cost those guys ~$90 for the very, very first Humble Bundle.
