Changing settings is a gambling addiction

I have been playing MGE scout vs scout for 5 years now. Ive been trying to reach 2300 elo for years, was stuck at 1700 elo for 3 years, then I reached 2180 when I learned everything, compared my aim to other players by watching demos and so on, but I have now changed settings 1 trillion times, and I recently realized it´s not helping at all. I can see when I watch my demos that my aim remains 90% the same no matter what I do, no matter what mouse or settings I use. I even noticed that my movement remains the same as well. If I move differently then I will miss all my shots. I have the same movement, and I am stuck with it, which just proves again that changing settings doesn´t affect your ability to aim and move. I depend alot on my movement when I aim, because I struggle with aiming. I do these long strafes right and left constantly, because I struggle with tracking and micro adjustments and so on. I have to use movement as a part of my aim, because my aim is bad, that is also why I use viewmodels, because it helps me with using movement to aim with. Good aimers don´t need to rely on movement as much, they don´t even have to think about any of this stuff either. I don´t naturally use my arm when I aim either, my wrist is glued to the table. Many of the best players use their arm in some way, I don´t. My brothers aim and movement doesn't change either when he changes settings or mouse, but hes already 2300 elo, that's why he never changes settings or gear. Aiming just feels natural to him. I have tested trillions of different mice and mousepads, hopefully this inspires someone whos addicted to QUIT. The best players have been good for decades without trying at all. I recently lost to an old MGE player with 3 hours in 2 weeks, who hadn´t played for almost 10 years as well. It´s blatant at this point, how easy it is for some people. Some people can just aim in their sleep. I remember changing settings constantly in 2014 as well, history really just repeats itself. That really says alot, and it´s obvious that its because of my bad mouse control, and ive been subconsciously knowing that something is wrong with my aim during all of this time.

So if you find yourself constantly changing settings, then it probably means that something is wrong with your aim, and you are desperately trying to fix it by changing settings and gear, when it´s really just your mouse control that is the issue. If your aim is bad, you should focus on movement. If you focus too much on aim nothing will happen. It can help however to find a comfortable mouse shape, but it´s still not gonna fix the core issue which is mouse control, atleast not with the tons of different mice that I have tested. Maybe a gaming pen could work for me, instead of a mouse. You know, were all different.

brother ive seen you play, u're kinda good but i think u need to go back to basics and get some coaching if you geniuly want to improve. just looping on mge and not having a healthy life outside isnt gonna work.
