So, I've been playing tf2 for a really, really good while now since 2023 (since 3 years ago)
On old account around 313 hours and actively 321 hours on my account now (634 hours) and I've used various huds, custom crosshairs, custom viewmodels, etc. But recently I've started hating, and really hating how damage numbers just disappear or refuse to appear when any single thing is just blocking a pixel of it. I really remember that not being the case before and it's just a detail that's been ticking off my sanity every time I play the game since I usually play it for the satisfaction value which I don't really get much when the number I really love to see is just not there.
I've searched everywhere and everything, but none of what I try really works. But I've seen people with damage numbers just working like that, seeing the damage numbers on enemies they burned even when they are behind a wall, seeing the damage numbers when hitting a target that's corner peeking, hell, Uncle Dane has damage values working (I am using budhud with his config and all that) but yet it doesn't work.
Is it even possible to have damage numbers work on my pc or am I getting phantom recollection really hard right now?
