with the exception of mirelin i dont know any of the guys who are tallking with the mlg staff. Is it really wise idea to have random ppl talking to mlg. Wouldnt it better to assign community/league leaders like enigma, nahanni, kalkin, killing, canfo, sonnyblack, permzilla to discuss regarding the rules, whitelist etc who knows how a league operaties and has better insight. Example canfo ran esa ladder tf2 tournament and i think having him to discuss with mlg is better than hanving random players who ppossibly never played ladder league before to discuss with mlg ppl

I agree that I'd like to see high-level players participating here, but it doesn't seem like any of them are making an effort to in the first place. I recognize quite a few of the names as people who have been around the scene for a while (most of them being NA as opposed to the EU people you're listing), and I'd personally trust their judgement - I also linked the ESEA configs to one of them as tentative rules, so as far as I'm aware it's going to be close to what we're familiar with. Even then, I'd like to see the top players actively involving themselves in this, but I'm afraid it's just going to be cast aside because it's not the popular league and no one in invite is going to care enough to help it flourish.

Also, having admins from a potential rival involve themselves seems like a really bad idea IMO.

its not really considered rival since mlg ladder are different format compare to a regular leagues like esea, ugc and etf2l.
Teams can play ladder whenever they want, while etf2l, esea and ugc has fixed schedule. So this allows teams to play mlg with other leagues at the same time
