Massive FPS Drops in Community Servers

My biggest reason by far for avoiding community servers is this. My fps in casual is completely fine, I am lag free. But the moment I enter a community server of any kind (with the exception of serveme) my frames tank from an 160 in one area to 50, rather than dropping from 160 to maybe 120-130. It also becomes incredibly stuttery and makes the game just not enjoyable. Really unsure what to do at this point, I've been running mastercomfig for the longest time and have updated it fairly recently. So far I've tried re-installing the game, validated files, re-installing my config and even tweaked some NVIDIA settings. Any possible solutions I just haven't tried yet?

MOTDs cause a lot of performance drops. Just disable them.

Frame rate drops on community servers can also stem from unoptimized and/or having too many sourcemod plugins. When there are only a few plugins and they are optimized this usually doesn't matter, but in servers like Skial with their free weapon system, you'll likely get more frame drops overall.

There are misconfigured servers too. Some set a way-too-low rate, updaterate, and cmdrate limit, or Just force the client's interp to worse values. Just dodge these servers, they probably aren't that good anyway.

It is said amongst the people that H.T.M.L. M.O.T.D.s are a cause of low F.P.S.

Actual lifesaver, I had completely forgotten that this was a command. My frames are back to being normal.
