Scoreboard on sides

I would quite like a spectator-hud like version of Omp's scoreboard for regular use, with just class icon and score, with one team on either side. I can turn my scoreboard on permanently with +score in console, and I could bind that, and I can switch weapons with use tf_weapon_whatever. If a hud maker could help me, I would appreciate it.

tl;dr I want scoreboard on the sides of my screen with class icon and score, nothing else

I scanned the hud page, and searched the internet, but couldnt find any.

Something like this, but with score instead of health:

Not only will your crosshair disappear, but so will your health, ammo, targetID frames, etc.

If I remember and/or have time tonight, I might be able to scrape something together. You won't be able to get class for the enemy team, so it'll just be blank, and the above limitations will still apply.

I might actually enjoy a scoreboard like this as well. Thanks Anthal for seeing what you can do :D

Seems kinda counter intuitive since you won't be able to quickly see who's up on both teams (having to look across the board for information). Also, like Anthal said, really can cripple your information if you can't see your ammo/hp/etc.

It shouldn't be hard to implement though, as you're just moving each team scoreboard to a side. Making it look good takes a bit though, so praise Anthal for that.

A hud crosshair would not disappear. Plus the reason for this is so that he can see what's happening. He's not going to actually try to kill something while looking at the scoreboard.

Issue still is you won't know your Ammo/HP while fighting unless you disable it. It's best left for a toggle during transition times.

Normal crosshairs dont disappear either.

Is there a way to add these features to the scoreboard? I haven't done any hud editing.

Why make it more time consuming to see who's dead and who's not?

None that I know of (I believe +score forces a state where they are hidden). Best I can think of is making a plugin, but that goes into "hacks".

ndustWhy make it more time consuming to see who's dead and who's not?

How is it more time consuming to have the information always on your screen? It doesn't take time to look to the edge of your screen, you should be able to see your whole screen.

I'll look into restrictions on that.

I got about this far before remembering how restrictive the scoreboard is. The avatar, name, class, score, and pings are all one element. Trying to crush them into something so small is a problem. There are "cheats" to get around it (like pushing parts of the element WAAAAY off screen), but the horizontal line at the top is a pretty fixed length. I'd imagine it'd be pretty distracting to play with that peeking in from both sides.
