I don't think anyone was saying to boycott ESEA, at least I wasn't, only saying that they disagree about specific policies. While I understand that ESEA does more for the game than anything else, but people should voice their opinion on what they feel needs to change. Supporting a league is different then blindly supporting it. I don't think anyone here was bashing the league as a whole (pointless bashing) but explaining what they feel should be changed. (this should happen)

justinI usually don't respond to this stuff, but this lemming like approach to hating ESEA is getting a bit out of control. You shouldn't be playing in invite if you're not capable of attending LAN. It's not fair to the teams who do attend LAN or the teams who could have attended LAN in your place. You don't have to be rich to buy a $200-300 plane ticket. ESEA offers to send players the prize pot for last place to help them get to LAN, for TF2 it's around $200 if I remember correctly, which basically covers your flight. They've done it for TF2 players in the past, and they did it for CS kids this season who took the money and dodged LAN. ESEA isn't perfect, but it's by far the best league TF2 has and has ever had. People are so quick to shit on ESEA and forget what our scene was like before it. You guys really need to sit back and think for a second instead of blindly acting like ESEA is horrible.

wow that's amazing, i didn't realize they sent money prior to people even getting there. despite the servers and the stv's they genuinely care about the scene i suppose.
