Hello for some reason my tf2 settings will not change when I save them, and my CFG will never work. Please help me I just want to play in dx8

Make sure you don't have "-autoconfig" in the launch options.

Are you using a mac? dx levels do not work on macs.

Is your config filename ending as .cfg and not as .cfg.txt?

I see, it keeps saving as a text document instead of a config

got it now, had to save as UT-8 something
