I have heard of Firefall and watched a few videos on it. It looks like it might be a cool game, but I said that about Shootmania too.

its always hard to judge early since they promo it to look "spectacular."

It's based around how good the weapons and items you've got so it'll never be a really good competitive game. It's a REALLY good mmo though.

Do you know that or are you assuming that? They acknowledged that in the video as something they've noted.
Also the broadcasting tools looked really cool.

I think the DM mode will eventually have a competitive setting where you get every item.
It does seem like it could be a good MMO though. Laggy at the time way back when they had the one day betas, but interesting.
