On each event maybe we can know who will play who, so rosters for each team? or just people participating in general like the upcoming "Valve's game" event.

And instead of posting a strawpoll under the event, encode a poll onto the event itself.

But strawpolls are easier for me to manipulate :(

late response but:

rosters are integrated into both our overlay systems but are most of the time not used. we could get something like on the actual event itself (I think that's what you're referring to).

as for TFTV polls I've asked about it for the sake of replacing Strawpoll on the overlay (due to lack of an official strawpoll api) but I am not in a rush to have something like that developed. it would make things easier however.
