I feel like the massive amount of "anti-shitposting" is shitposting in itself. It's so fucking easy to ignore horrible posts. It's obvious some people do it more than others but it seems like there is the same amount (if not more) people who constantly rip on other users posts, it's like adding fuel to the fire.

If something as petty as a forum poster bothers you, learn to ignore it.

A forum is a place to freely discuss opinions on topics. There are certainly cases in which action should be taken against disruptive users such as cru5 or thread_bumper, but we can't just ban a user because we disagree with them. Saltysally is just a rare case of extremely opinionated and unable to stop talking, and his reputation precedes him now. If you don't like what people are saying, just ignore it.

I don't agree with this thread. Doesn't matter how shitty anyone opinions are, if they are not harmful, they don't deserve to be banned. Besides, -frags speak by themselves, just keep -fragging whatever comment you don't like and the community will understand how stupid the comment is.
