After using this in csgo, I tried playing my games but I now get like 80~ fps when I used to get 120 constant. Do you know why this is?

Probably because it used a graphics config to record CS GO and you didn't have an auto exec and used default settings, so now the game assumed the values of the graphics config as your own.

But even tf2 gets bad fps and I checked my config and its all fine.

Did you get the audio to work if you recorded anything?

updated to last version run a pov and some seconds after tf2 crashes. tried every config in the SRT, when I run the demo with the config I use to play tf2 everything goes smooth

EDIT - I asked a friends a demo to test, everything worked fine so its related to my demos (I guess), also this only started to happen today, already tried a older version of SRT, lawena, change HUD's, game always crashes

EDIT 2 - FIXED - Just verified local game files and it fixed :D

The latest release isn't launching for me. The exe shows up in the task mangier for a few seconds, but then it disappears. Other versions are working fine.

Game doesn't register any of the binds from the tool, and scheduled recording doesn't work. Almost as if the cfg doesn't get injected, although it is there in the tf directory when the game is started through the tool in any manner.

What seems to be the issue?

Thanks

Sound ain't working on cs:go, just some buzzing noise... Shame, I'll use it once it's fixed I guess.

kaNSound ain't working on cs:go, just some buzzing noise... Shame, I'll use it once it's fixed I guess.

I have had this problem for a long time even without this program (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8-ETSeKX5ts), that was using a custom config I created.

I was never able to solve it.

But I have heard the cause is that valve limits csgo recording @ 30 fps and anything above that just messes up the sound. Maybe try it?

Is this not working for anyone else? I haven't used it in a while. Re-downloaded it but still nothing working

Edit: Nothing working as in binds not executing and I cannot exec manually. So cant control speed, make it rec etc

I noticed that the auto downloader seems to not work, but other than that looks fine to me.

Hey,
So I linked the commandline virtualdub instead of the proper exe, so I somehow need to undo that and reconnect it to the proper executable. Any ideas on how?

So that was happening to me, until I ticked the boxes tf2-moviehud and tf2-viewedbypass
I don't know why, but it worked, so I'm letting you know.

I'm pretty sure there's a button that says something like "reset all" in one of the menus at the top. Once you do that you should be able to re set it.

I installed quicktime, but regardless when I hit f10 the game brings up a box saying "Are you sure you want to quit tf2", and no videos are in the directory I specified.

edit: also, after closing source recorder I can't open it again. I get the error "This app can't run on your PC." I'm on Win 8 64bit

Do you get the same windows error? I haven't had happen that with any other application so far.

I recently started getting this error:

The version of this file is not compatible with the version of windows you're running. Check your computer's system information to see whether you need an x86 (32-bit) or x64 (64-bit) version of the program, and then contact the software publisher.

The error comes up when I run the program. Only way I've been able to get around it is to delete the program and unpack it again. The error comes up but program still runs. This only works once though, so it's a little annoying.

I get an error that says "End of Central Directory Record could not be found" after the update.
It still runs, but I don't know how to customize the path to the tf2 directory I want.

Unable to find executable

I assume this is because of me installing TF2 on my D: drive and not my C:, is there a way to change the tf2 directory in this?

For cs go, lets say I'm trying to record from an stv. I think its the spectator setup that screws things up and i can either never move the camera, find the person I'm trying to spec, or record. Any ideas?
