Tired of going through all of the viruses and shit. Who has a link to a legit one?

Man this rom file sure has a weird extension, better run it...
Emulation is illegal unless you have a legal copy of the game, which honestly if you need to go to a videogame forum to find a ROM, is probably more on your pace.

3DS's piracy scene is relatively new. I wouldn't have invested in a Gateway 3DS if I were you.

You're not gonna find a legit one that someone will link to you here, since that shit is obviously illegal.

Wait emulations are legal if you have a legal copy of the game?

Cause I have a bunch of old GBA and DS games that I can't play because I broke one and lost the other

You need to rip the rom yourself in order for it to be considered fully legal. But morally it's fine.

it is physically impossible to play the Pokemon X/Y rom. The only flash cart, gateway, doesn't even support the firmware Pokemon ships with and requires.

This is why Nintendo release the 2ds on launch day with pokemon X/Y, so you can grab the system for cheap and purchase the legit copy.

Actually, it will depend on the country. US have not been completely able to change all other international laws.

I can't find any roms either, though :C
sad since the game/2ds is like ~$200 and i gotta make rent nigga cant be buying a gameboy just for one game

No one has claimed that they have never stole anything, so that attack is silly, and honestly if you can't afford 200 dollars, how can you afford to spend time on a site about videogames? Also, I suggest you check out http://www.bandcamp.com if you think music can't be less than 10 USD an album.
