Yeah why would you upsize to 1440p when you recorded the footage at 1080?

You end up getting original/ 1440p quality feature on YouTube. The quality looks super slick.

Is there an advantage to having RipBot 264 over easy h264?

Lucky_ShotIs there an advantage to having RipBot 264 over easy h264?

Haven't tried easy h264, but from what I have seen you can't set custom bitrate while in Ripbot you can do whatever pretty much and using high custom RipBot settings helps since you end up having a sweet looking quality for YouTube and PC.

Sorry for all of these questions but what do I do if my TF2 doesnt have a resolution of 1920x1080?

EDIT: To clarify, I put the lawena resolution at 1920 x 1080, then I recorded the actual clip at 1280 x 720 in TF2. I followed all of your steps with vdub but when I tried to put the .avi into Vegas, it wouldnt work.

Figured out the problem, it wouldn't let me put the clip into vegas with the codec for some reason. What does the codec do?

You could go with 1680x945 and just render out as 1080p.

There are 2k and 4k settings on some videos. But you have to specifically search for those since it's a really small niche that can actually view those to their specs.

There's not much wrong with eh264 otherwise. It's really good to use and it's 100% user friendly.

If I'm editing with something like after effects or premiere do I need all those plugins/seperate programs (like virtualdub and the h.264 encoder)? Also quality sample is private.

My main channel is now gone, I have created a new one. Once the tutorial videos are up on the new channel, I will update this topic.

You need all of those plugins that are listed if you want your RipBot to work. After effects and premiere have adobe media encoder option I believe, you should try that out (you won't need those plugins, apart from Virtual Dub, otherwise you won't be able to encode your .tga files to .avi).
