So today I installed the Broeselhud HUD and everything worked OK. However, afterwards I tried using the Installer, and did all my customizations, but I cannot for the life of me figure out how to get them to activate in game.

Here's what it looks like:

So can anyone tell me what I need to do to save the customized options? I can't figure out how to use the "Export" function at the top, if that's what I need.

Broeselhud installer installs in the old pre-steampipe location of the game

What files do I need to move in though? And where do I find them. Any help is much appreciated.

it's somethin like C:Program files/Steam/Steamapps/common/teamfortress etc etc etc
the info should be somewhere on the broselhud website
last i checked the installer was actually more or less non-functional in the new steampipe version, you gotta change the stuff manually

Go there, replace blank spot with your steam ID name. You're going to want to copy the resource and scripts folders from there and put them in.

But before doing that you need to make another folder inside custom, it can be called anything. That folder inside custom is where any and all hud/custom files should go.

Ok so here's what I have atm.

The HUD itself is installed correctly, I've tested it out while playing.

The only thing I don't understand is doing the updates.

I exported all the custom configs from the installer (even though it does nothing) and it gave me a file that came up like this, which I assume is all the custom configs.

So I need to know how to apply all the customs in there to the resource files I guess. I'm sorry if this is painful for you, it's my first time with this sort of thing. :p

The installer is broken, don't use it. #6 was right but you didn't understand him or something. Customize yourself or add me for help with customizing.

Yeah if I remember correctly the installer has been broken since 2.6 I havn't seen broesel in well over a month and a half so I have no idea who would update it.

I would like to add you if that's OK. Hopefully I added the right person on Steam.

You can click on a username to go to their TF.TV profile, which will have their Steam ID there.
