This may have been posted before and I may look like an idiot, (nothing new), but on other forums I've been apart of over the years they've had a notification type system, where if someone quotes or likes (+frags on here) one of your posts you're notified up the top right of the screen. This would just help keep track of threads, and respond to any post where necessary.

i don't think there should be notifications for +/-frags, but i would like it for when someone quotes a post of mine.

That's what I was thinking, generally people would only get 1-2 likes if they were lucky, so it was alright. On here, quoting posts is the only thing I think of that would work. Maybe we could introduce private messaging, but I supposed the high profile members might get spammed a lot by fanboys... and I guess if you really wanted to contact someone their steam url is generally on their profile.
