Mousepad, help me choose one.

Budget = ~60$ - Maybe a bit higher :>(by a bit I mean by like 2 cents l0l)

I've been thinking about getting rid of my Razer Kabuto (a really small pad), which served me well, however I've been hitting my keyboard too many times and the pad keeps slipping off the desk :(.

I have a Razer Deathadder 2013, I use 5.40 sense in-game, and I still don't know which pad to buy.

I've been thinking about 3 kinds of Mousepads:

1)Razer Goliathus Speed/Control - Have no idea which one to choose, from what I've heard, if you have high sense and you'll buy the Goliathus speed you'll probably need to lower the sense.
And about the control..well..it seems like it would fit high sense if the speed fits lower sense.
Also it seems logical that Razer pads will go well with Razer mice.
And there is also the part about Omega and Alpha editions which I don't really understand in.

2)PureTrak Talent - I didn't read any bad reviews about it, but I really couldn't find any way to know if high sense fits it well or low sense fits it well, actually, now that I think about it, I remember seeing that Lansky has about 5.50 sense (I think) and is using the PureTrak talent..hum.

3)SteelSeries QcK+/Heavy - The heavy one as I understood is thicker but has a rough surface and it's smaller (which I don't want small), but however it's still another option.

What I want from the Mousepad I'm going to get is that it will be large enough that I want bump into my Keyboard (I got a pretty small desk), it won't slip off the desk, and I could still move my mouse not too fast on the pad since I use a high sense.

Thanks for anyone who helps, sorry for the wall of text lmao.

The QcK+ has a nice resistance to it since the surface is a bit rougher than others and its not really that small. favorite mousepad so far

Do you think it will suit well with my high sense?

I own a thick qck and like the fact that its thick which makes it quite comfortable to use for me, I use a little less then half of your sensitivity (1.25/1600dpi) and I can barely make a 360 on the qck, although as you run a much higher sens I don't think it'll be a problem for you.
I would not buy the pad again since it doesn't seem to durable and its to small for me, I also am not a fan of the 4:3 ratio.
If you are using such a high sens I'd suggest you stick with a "smaller" mousepad and don't go for a bigger one like the talent. If you are having the problem of bumping into your keyboard get a tenkeyless.

lol, they are both the same size.

I have the heavy, and I use 31 cm/360.

It is a nice pad, but I have had to clean it a few times, but then it's pretty much as good as new.

I have a 20cm/360 and use a Puretrak Stealth, it's the same as the Talent but smaller.

heavy/qck+: 450mm x 400mm x (6mm heavy/ 2mm qck+)

That's fucking big, I was messuring my desk about a month ago, and if I recall correctly, the size that seemed normal to me was the Goliathus Standard 355mm x 254mm :O.

Oh boy, I'll need to check about that size when I get back home..fuck that's big.

I can vouch for the QcK Heavy aswell. I use roughly 30cm/360 if that matters. I just clean it like every 2 months with water and soap. Let it dry and it's as good as new.

Huh, like nobody even mentioned the Goliathus, :o, maybe the americans that just woke up would say something about it, for now, seems like the PureTrak is the best choise from what I read here and other places, the only real problem about it is that it might be too big.

Keep the recommendations and suggestions coming please, I want to ge the most feedback that I can get before making my decision.

RakeYou can't buy skills. You can and should buy talent though.

I'm not trying to buy skills, just want a good mousepad that doesn't bump my hand into the keyboard.

If you got a couple of Goliathus pads, you may know what is the difference with the Omega and Alpha versions, and what does the control has different rather than the speed?

LeatherSocki have a deathadder and puretrak talent and they are amazingdefinitely get the talent

Huh, already the 2nd one here saying Deathadder and PureTrak go well together, thanks for letting me know.

And to think I was almost 100% sure to get the goliathus!

Also I found another small issue here, I searched every hardware / gaming / computer stuff store in my country (Israel), and found that none are selling this pad, however buying one from Amazon won't be a problem, at all :)!

If you have a better place for me to order myself a brand new PureTrak Talent please say so :), remember I live in Israel, it'll be overseas.

Amazon price : 30.47$ - Including Shipping.
New Amazon Price : 41.47$ - LOL I came the next day to the same page, Including Shipping.

I have the QCK Heavy and it is pretty awesomely big. I love the way it feels when I move my deathadder 2013 across it. However I have a problem with dust collecting on the mouse pad and getting in the eye of the mouse. But when that happens I just throw it through the wash and coolio no more dust. Have had it for a few years now and have taken good care of my mousepad and its still in fine condition. Granted I used to play at 26 inches per 360 when I played CS 1.6 which was perfect for the mousepad. The higher the sensitivity the less you'll have to lift your mouse so the size should only matter if you're talking about low sensitivities.
personally I wouldn't give a shit about razer saying the mousepad is designed for speed/control that's just marketing.

The only difference is the size. Omega: 270mm x 215mm, Standard: 355mm X 254mm, Alpha: 444mm X 355mm

I've got a goliathus speed and really like it (27cm/360). I'm not a fan of slow pads though. I'd say you can't go wrong with any of the ones you're considering. From what I've seen the puretrak is harder to get/more expensive shipping so whether it's worth it is debatable.

....

artisan hien.

Fast and light glide, light stopping power, very low initial friction, and it's got a really nice material on the bottom to keep the pad stuck on your surface.

Rambadilianmy mouse leaves white streaks on it for some reason.

thats because your mousepad is full of your dead skin cells, oils, and sweat

scratch the front center of your mousepad, where you would commonly make contact, and the back right corner.

gross isn't it, wash that shit
