#10 "Let's Learn" w/ FROYO paddie in Videos

Solid videos, I was kind of distracted by the music & contract noise in the beginning of the round but for the most part it was very easy to follow and very comprehensive. One other thing I'd suggest is changing mp_tournament so that you don't have to deal with the round timer running out. I wasn't watching live but the q/a style seems like a good idea so that you can make sure that people aren't getting lost and fully understanding what you're trying to say.

in the first week of s19 open my team beat two teams in an average of 10 minutes and 5 seconds a game
the roamer for one of the teams posted on reddit asking what he should know before playing his first esea match but I guess it wasn't enough because he ended up with a big goose egg on the scoreboard
I felt really bad because after playing us he lost to bird noises and one other team in ~10 minutes as well, and then the team died after the second week. Must have been a pretty demoralizing first experience in esea.
I checked his esea profile and he hasn't played since then

Skye(In fact, captains sometimes choose to pick players with a lower rating on classes like medic, so their team will gain more ELO if they win or tie).

#13 Can't figure out how to play Demo effectively in Q/A Help
Hunter_2_0 but I constantly bottom or second to last frag/damage in lobbies

you probably shouldn't take anything away from your stats in lobbies
they tend to be very disorganized and people will bait you/let scouts hold w and run at you all game
to elaborate on what hellbent said you're never going to improve if you keep putting yourself down and thinking that you're bad
once you are able to develop the right mindset and are able to play the game without being outcome dependent and calling yourself shit you will see yourself improve drastically
playing demo especially at a low level it can be super hard because you need to rely so heavily on your teammates to follow up/support you
obligatory ddk champion's mindset post https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ECcokwYv9vY
this thread has some useful information on the topic

#16 is vaping a meme in The Dumpster
the301stspartandefine "meme"

as it was originally defined in 1976

We need a name for the new replicator, a noun that conveys the idea of a unit of cultural transmission, or a unit of imitation. `Mimeme' comes from a suitable Greek root, but I want a monosyllable that sounds a bit like `gene'. I hope my classicist friends will forgive me if I abbreviate mimeme to meme.(2) If it is any consolation, it could alternatively be thought of as being related to `memory', or to the French word même. It should be pronounced to rhyme with `cream'.

Examples of memes are tunes, ideas, catch-phrases, clothes fashions, ways of making pots or of building arches. Just as genes propagate themselves in the gene pool by leaping from body to body via sperms or eggs, so memes propagate themselves in the meme pool by leaping from brain to brain via a process which, in the broad sense, can be called imitation. If a scientist hears, or reads about, a good idea, he passed it on to his colleagues and students. He mentions it in his articles and his lectures. If the idea catches on, it can be said to propagate itself, spreading from brain to brain. As my colleague N.K. Humphrey neatly summed up an earlier draft of this chapter: `... memes should be regarded as living structures, not just metaphorically but technically.(3) When you plant a fertile meme in my mind you literally parasitize my brain, turning it into a vehicle for the meme's propagation in just the way that a virus may parasitize the genetic mechanism of a host cell. And this isn't just a way of talking -- the meme for, say, "belief in life after death" is actually realized physically, millions of times over, as a structure in the nervous systems of individual men the world over.'
