Im a part of the political staff, and write speeches, do scheduling, etc.
I have a masters in political science and im done with school since 2 years.

Junior in microbiology, and I get paid to help international exchange students grow accustomed to life at an American university. I'm also an unpaid research assistant and a private science/math/english tutor.
I'm a student studying digital media design who's also doing some part time web design for local businesses and filming sports events for the local TV station.
But mostly video games.

Kuza's spiel about GPA not mattering ain't true. An extra point on your GPA (assuming we're talking 2.0->3.0 or 3.0->4.0) is a pretty BFD on a resume depending on where you apply. The biggest trump card you can have as a recent grad, though, is an internship somewhere.
GPA cutoffs are common. If you already have a lot of experience, then a GPA doesn't matter so much, but when you're competing as an inexperienced college grad, you need the best GPA you can get. You certainly shouldn't let video games derail your coursework in any way.
