For some reason, my Sony Vegas version won't let me just upload to youtube straight from it...

I've watched all these videos on how to fix it and google searched it, but nothing works :''(

You could try a higher framerate which should cut down some blur, but I don't think that's the source of the issue, maybe try a higher bitrate.

How would I go about doing that?

i think you need to disable 'resampling' in vegas by right clicking on the media in the timeline (yes, each one if you use more than one, it sucks). that'll fix the weird blurriness

also the best way to render is to render to an uncompressed avi file from vegas, then use handbrake to encode it to something within youtube's bitrate guidelines
