I meant deposit not donate, the rage made me lose it
This is how I "deposit" now:
I offer a trade to Saloon of like a 3 ref hat and 10 seperate refined metals. I confirm the offer on my mobile app. I can't bet on Saloon and it says the items are in-trade for a while (I don't know if they become not in-trade after a while, I haven't really followed up on it.)
I'm pretty sure there are no trade holds on my account anymore.
Things that might cause it according to me:
- My mobile app sucks
- The trade contents are too low for Saloon so they decline it
- Something stupid concerning the dumb mobile app blabla
TL;DR for very lazy people
When I trade something to saloon it stays in my inventory and doesn't go to saloon for me to bet with.
Also the mobile app sucks.

There's a popup which is supposed to appear and show you why your trade was rejected. It doesn't tend to pop up.
Try using the site at https://www.saloon.tf instead of the normal http. This fixed it for me.

The problem was: I didn't get notifications from saloon which was fixed by doing what Getawhale said, and then Saloon told me my trade offers were being rejected because I put reclaimed metal in there which is too low.

Well, if you do want to donate rather than deposit at some point, just make a bet.
