is there any sushi or fried chicken place near the venue? please this is very important
MR_SLINeXtinebuy a 4g cardMangachuAre there any extra costs for streaming?
From the breakdown we got regarding the internet capabilities at the event, I don't think regular ticket holders will have the upload to be able to stream. Stream bandwidth was a big concern for us, but GXL will be working with us to rectify the situation and we feel good about it atm.
or tether from your phone :3

Geno's, Jims, or Pats. Tony Luke's is good too tho. Take your pick.
everyone should bring a blue or red shirt so we can play irl ctf.
If I were to come I'd need to sort out a computer. I'm bad at trawling through threads; are there any PCs for hire? I suppose if there aren't, I'll have to invest in a decent laptop.

we are attempting to work out a scenario where computers would be at the LAN to use for players traveling far away.

Pats is THE BEST. End of discussion.
Visitors are always distracted by the fact that right across the street is Genos with all the lights. It looks like a fucking casino. Genos isn't bad, but you don't get as much meat there, and the taste isn't quite as good as pats either IMO.
Jim's (corner of 4th & South) is also really good. It's also on south street which has a lot of good bars.
Tony Luke's sucks. It's all grease and gristle.
Pat's
Jim's
Geno's
In that order. Trust me on this. Lived in Philly my whole life, and I'm 32 now. I know my cheesesteaks.

Thinking of attending. Are there any local people whom could borrow pc + monitor?
huhyThinking of attending. Are there any local people whom could borrow pc + monitor?
It's quite likely that I'll have a PC available to lend to someone. I'll be trading it's use to whomever can do more pushups than me.

I am coming from 3rd world country ;D I think I qualify as a winner already without having to compete!

Last year a few guys and I met at Pats and honestly I was underwhelmed. The cheesesteak cost like 10 dollars and wasn't that filling. Tasted good but wasn't worth the drive into the city. We sat in traffic for a few hours leaving Philly to get back to the convention center. If you really want a steak, make sure you're clear of the beltway before rush hour. I76 is a fucking dumpster of a highway.
