It's not weird, he had a bad few months. (which is more common than you think, around 1/20 people have bipolar disorder or similar). He also is fully employed and actively programming, you can see from his GH activity. He's working professionally on broadcast graphics, which he became an expert (in part) because of helping out with early tf2/toth streams. not to derail thread too much, but we should be proud of lange, not shy about it

He uploaded some videos to youtube that he later deleted, and also streamed a bit during winter beetween 1 or 3 years ago. Back then he was still doing disc golf during the summer.

Shade, Yomps (RIP), Arekk. The three made banger content for the game

its incredibly tough, I hope lange doesn't resent the odd spotlight the tf2 community may have cast on him
I think a lot of what pulled me to this game was watching the group of people who were posting yt videos that were competitive adjacent funny clips
Rays, Lange, Kurt, summerDogg (tagg), star, seanbud, slin
I think its cool that they've all moved on to their own things but I do miss the days when streamhighlights was a regularly uploading channel

the last thing I heard that dude say was that he wanted me to play in invite on malicious activity when esea was dying and then bullet disappeared into a mythical ethos shortly after

I still have fond memories of playing for 2 or 3 weeks with perfection, ash1497, yuki, and dunker trying to keep Midnight Society going. I think ash left because he and yuki had a falling out, and we needed a demo, so yuki somehow convinced us to give bullet a shot. Perfection had to miss a day of scrims, and with like 2 minutes until we were supposed to start, we still couldn't grab anyone. Bullet then told us out of the blue that he had someone--a "really good" like UGC silver player he "knew could play high IM." Obviously sketchy, but we didn't want to bait our opponents. It ended up being bolin and this was the game we played: https://logs.tf/2096079#76561198116072296 Bolin, for those of you at home who never had the pleasure of meeting him is quite possibly the most obvious cheater I had ever played with. You may know him as merlow--that guy who used to upload youtube videos of him cheating in mge.
Suffice it to say, I left that team immediately after, and what was left of Midnight Society died before the next season started.
good times

I would love to see Sandblast come back. Ever since they kicked Deathy from Feint gaming, they really had some awesome performances that I found most entertaining. His streams also flaunt tons of learning moments.
Despite not making the top 100 list (which I think we can all agree was questionable at best), he was a top 20 player, if not top 5. He was generally held back by his team, which in turn led to some unfavorable team performances as of late. Not only that, but he also tore it up in different games such as Diabotical. But I digress.
Who could forget his infamous "AWOOOOOO" werewolf howl. Or the classic panty drencher on Gullywash. Or that time he... well never mind ;)
Anyways, if anyone wants to start a GoFundMe to get Sandblast back into the scene, let me know. I would be happy to help contribute!

Ah hell yeah that's good to hear. I don't know if someone else had let us know how Lange was doing but I'm glad to hear he's well. Thanks for the positive news.
