I currently can't watch anything above Low, and in most cases I have to watch Mobile. My internet is more than good enough to watch Source streams. I can watch 1080p Youtube videos, which are to my knowledge at a higher bitrate than anything on Twitch. This has been going on for a few days now.

ISP: AT&T Uverse
Location: Indiana

Probably a good idea to mention your locations as well. Might show a pattern, or might not.

I'm in Indiana and I know Marxist does too.

^ They updated something a few months ago, and talked about how it would improve performance. Now I can barely watch streams at medium. Its absolute shit, but they can get away with it because there’s no other rival service.

I watch stream fine 90% of the time, then there's a random buffer problem that takes either 10-20 seconds to clear up or ~10 seconds if you just refresh the page (just play/pause doesn't work so well, maybe because of the buffer).

Still having problems. I think it might be bad routing or something broke somewhere, looking at these speedtests: http://pastebin.com/57LfdBtv

Even though I did them a few days ago, I just checked and it was still the same, with some servers being normal and others not.

Arbitrarily stops buffering all the time, a refresh usually fixes it for a few minutes at least but it's still a pain in the ass. Quality doesn't seem to make a difference. I'm on Shaw, who are a terrible company, but my internet has been fairly reliable lately so I seriously doubt that's the issue.

Mine has been fine actually. I watch on high and every hour or two of watching i'll get a tiny bit of buffering, reloading fixes it for the next 2 hours or so. can watch on medium without buffering ever.

California
Cox: pretty good internet actually.

My understanding of the change is that if the broadcaster drops frames, the viewer doesn't notice but it simply fastforwards ahead and/or shows that spinny buffer circle thing. It's good and bad at the same time but it's hard to tell if the error is on the broadcaster's end or the viewer's end.
