PhunkI suddenly saw that your card was overclocked, was that factory done or did you do it yourself? Is there some sort of setting you goofed up?

i just used msi afterburner and changed gpu clock 1344 mhz to 1480 mhz and memory from 1753 to 1800

ToasterI barely get 100 fps anymore talk less on mid fights. got no problems. appreciate that you can get over 120 constant. Like why are you even clomplaining

I'm not complaining i just want to know why some people get higher fps with worse cpu and gpus.

DaStabajwindows power options--> high performance plan

Lower your resolution.

Try dxlevel 81,85,91,95,98. See which one performs the best.

lowering my res doesn't change my fps at all, i already had high performance on and i use the hatless mod dxlevel 81 gives me the most fps

phraxGPU won't affect your frame rate in tf2 unless it's so shit that it bottlenecks your CPU, also it's way harder to get bang for your buck in tf2 in that even a top of the line gaming computer probably couldn't hold 200 fps constantly in a crowded pub while the same computer could put out 600+ fps consistently in cs:go.

That said you're not really getting the performance you should be, check there's nothing weird going on in nvidia settings and make sure cl_threaded_bone_setup is set to 1?

i have my nvidia settings set to performance and have all the settings at the lowest, i just recently switched from chris max frames to an updated config from here which gave me a 30 fps boost and it has cl_threaded_bone_setup enabled

GeForce GTX 970 oced
i7-3770 CPU @ 4.2HZ oc
16GB RAM
1920,1080 144hz
in the demo benchmark with lowest settings and fps config i only get 183 fps while people with worse gpus get 200+ i cant even hold 200 fps constant in 6s fights it drops down to about 140 in 6v6 fights is this normal fps for this good equipment? it seems awful to me i was hoping to get 300 fps constant with this in fights
