#7 Help with Mouse in Hardware

corsayeah, some people don't like the shape/coating of the dm1 pro s, but it's my favorite mouse, especially in terms of shape and coating. I like the rubberized (or you have an option for glossy) finish, because I can play with it all day and it always feels the same for me. A problem I had with any of zowies is that they would actually make my hand sweat, and after warming up for a while, going into scrims/matches, the mouse would feel different. It's different for everyone though, and some people like this because it provides more grip.

for reference: i've tried a deathadder, ec2a, za12, and dm1 only.

Strange - I have the reverse thing with Zowie and DM1 pro s. Are you using Zowie (yellow/white label) or Zowie by BENQ (newer - red label) because I have a benq ec2-a and it feels kinda glossy

flyingbuddyNixues Rivel and DM1 pro are pretty similar

this. Used the DM1 pro and it's pretty good however the somewhat 'glossy' feel of the mouse, despite being rubberized, can be off-putting to some (me for one). Heard a lot of issues with the Nixeus so maybe stay away from that.

Did you make sure to turn off your psu and unplug the power cable before doing anything with your pc? Otherwise, you could have shorted your psu (rip)

What's the period of time that it 'flickers on'? If its like 3 seconds then it's most probably a dead psu

Rare, because most places in oz you ask for medium rare and get medium towards well, so I ask for rare and get something close to medium/medium rare. There are the occasions where I ask for rare and get ACTUAL rare which is always nice.

Tried the monitor with a different pc? The first guess is always windows.

Haven't got another PC laying around unfortunately, really. I wouldn't be surprised if it's related to when I was fiddling around with strobing - maybe it didn't fully uninstall.

If the first guess is Windows, will a Refresh do me any good?

Yeah I did get the pro M.

I ended up just using my old D14 so that's working fine. all good :D Funny thing was, though, on the day my PSU fucking fried, so I had to rush to the PC store and buy a new PSU. Also ended up getting a Gigabyte G1 gaming instead of having to go founders so that's cool.

I prob could return the D15 but it's effort because the place is in a diff state and i'd spend money shipping back anyway so meh.

EDIT: to chuck a q into here, I've done the strobing 'fix' for my xl2411z including the custom res, however when I reboot I get the message that I am using the wrong DVI cable. I have to change to a non custom res, then back to make it work. Any ideas?

EDIT2: magically fixed. nevermind.
