cirloAre
tf_mm_options_bonus 0.5 and tf_mm_options_penalty -0.25
something related to rank progression/regression?

And what could
tf_mm_skillrating_server_force_average 0
be?

pretty sure these are related to MvM but I'm not sure what each one does

Only screws and two mounting bars though. There is only one backplate. Also how did you know which parts to use? Did you just randomly try out one after the other? Or did you read the manual?

What? I'm pretty sure I had both a 115X and AM3 backplate in my box. There were two folders inside of a pamphlet, one side for Intel and one for AMD. Yes, I knew which parts to use, believe it or not I did RTFM.

EDIT: One backplate (SecuFirm), multiple brackets.

smoboi have no idea how these guys are getting working copies of the PC version when it has Steam DRM and isn't out yet

review code doesn't have steam DRM, and there is review code on PC from what I can see

that or the DRM it does have is a separate appID?

Setsulthose parts are supposed to be left over, right?

I dunno about you but I had like 15 spare parts left over after installing my NH-L12 just because they gave me mounting brackets for every possible mobo out there, a huge extra tube of NT-H1, and a bunch of fan splitters and low profile resistors.

Good guys.

trash-in-game tips should be heavily updated, focused so it only talks about the things the player can currently do with their class and loadout, and then show up every respawn. if possible, make it context-heavy; did a player die from afterburn when you had a mad milk in your loadout? point out that it can douse the flames.

Uh holy yes. In-game tips while you're waiting to respawn, kind of like the ones on the loading screens of some games (StarCraft 2 & Warcraft 3 come to mind), relating to how you died previously or to your class in general. That would be amazing and super easy to implement.

#18 What is this TF2Pug.me in Q/A Help
negasoraIt should probably be said that newbie mixes != newbie mix pugs. In newbie mixes, each team will be given a coach, whereas in newbie pugs, you're on your own

Are they still called newbie "mix" pugs then?

#16 What is this TF2Pug.me in Q/A Help
negasoraMixes don't, pugs do

Then listing "newbie mixes" probably isn't the best idea.

That said, OP, I recommend newbie mixes. They're taken very seriously and as a new player you'll be given advice from your coach post-game (and sometimes during the game).

#13 What is this TF2Pug.me in Q/A Help
lias__These steam groups make announcements and everyone joins a server. The general process is a pug moderator will call "last to spec is medic" and the last two are made medic, though this will change depending on the group. The medics will fight with melee and choose fist or second pick (first gets first pick but one pick and second gets second and third pick).

I haven't coached in months but please tell me newbie mixes doesn't do this

VanaNoctua supply free mounting hardware if their cooler isn't compatible? Awesome.

Noctua is pretty fucking awesome. They make the best fans and coolers around (especially for obscure form factors), and are willing to literally bet their company on their quality.

1151 uses the same cooling pattern that 1150 used which was the same that 1155 used which was the same that 1156 pioneered

so yes

MapleNot going to be a day 1 purchase for me, I'm waiting for the first big sale after there's a reasonable amount of mods out.

Summer Sale 2016 it sounds like.

mvm matchmaking servers are gone.
hmm....

lol it's so easy to get past this block, go to boot camp and then hit the mann up ad and it brings you to the matchmaking screen

can't find any servers though

StaticVoidperhaps require a premium TF2 account to play MM? I mean, it wouldn't stop all cheaters, but it would stop people from just making account after account.

It's going to require some form of matchmaking pass, without a doubt. I don't say this from the "matchmaking beta pass" item currently in the schema, but rather from common sense. It's an easy way to restrict matchmaking to semi-serious players, to put a stop to hackers recreating accounts without pouring money into Valve's wallet, and to make some form of money from the update.
