I never really understood the hate on tf2c, sure there are some toxic ppl and trollers but if you are a beginner i think its a great way to get familiar and comfortable with the competitive gamemodes. assuming you are from europe you usually dont need to use mumble in lobbies so you wouldnt have to deal with any toxic people in voice chat either. i'd say give it a go:-)

Its a regional difference from my understanding, it seems for NA ppl shotgun is the norm whereas in EU 95% uses gb. Personally i prefer gb on most arenas (not ammomod) because it forces u to go for good rockets with no sg to rely on
