I have a pair of Sony MDR-V6s and I love them to death. I've had them for 3 years now and for the price (got them for 65), you can't really beat them. Both the V6s and the 7506s (a reskin with a slightly different frequency range) are currently on sale on amazon right now for $85. I would hop all over that if I were you. These headphones are really close to the point of diminishing marginal returns as far as cost are concerned.

edit: If you go with them, listen to them for a while and then pick up these pads (http://www.amazon.com/Beyerdynamic-Velour-Earcushions-MDR7506-Headphones/dp/B0016MF7W2/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1395337834&sr=8-2&keywords=velour+pads+headphones). They'll widen the sound stage, and are far more comfortable. That's not to say that they are uncomfortable, though. I used these cans for 2 and a half years before picking up the beardynamic velour pads.
