SideshowYou're assuming Saints will finish last. If any other team finishes last and there is any less than that amount for 4th place they are financially screwed, so we are accounting for that. There are also no better teams who would potentially attend at this short notice, we liaised with all the teams well before this.

SheepylolLets be honest the game would have been over in 10 minutes anyway.
Many people thought that Fulltilt will lose 0:5 0:5 to reason like they did in last official but they had very close game and almost won yesterday.
Anyway I'm not talking about who would win a match. We just wanted to play in this cup and I thought in invite cup like that there is no place for default lose especially when both teams weren't ready to play 6v6.
As I said Reason had 5 people in lobby, we had 4 and our 5th didn't click ready because we were sure admin will delay a forfeit and let both teams to get 6 players. It was invite cup so it shouldn't be a problem to do it and wait a few minutes more.
I assume that "definition of fair play" is unknown for Reason. That wasn't first time they did something like that.
1. it was 10 minutes not 15
2. We had 5 people but they didn't click ready in lobby because we figured that there is no point to play 5v5 (because Reason also had only 5 people). We also asked an admin in chat if he could delay a forfeit a bit more and I was sure he'll do it (he did it in last razer cup a week ago and added extra 10 minutes) but this time admin said that he has no power to do it and we have to ask buttnose who wasn't in lobby and I had to add him on steam but it was already too late. Still they agreed that we can use our server and play this match but Reason changed their mind and refused to play because they wanted to watch stream.
and as I said we even had all 6 players at 17:20-17:30 when cup originally had to start

It does now actually, but even with the new addition we'd rather keep it to one day for the Invite series. Stretching the cup out over four or five days kills the hype for the cup by the end and it's difficult to keep consistent interest. With a 32-man cup it's better to keep the games to more friendly times than try and have as many games as possible.

The Invite cup should be played in a double elimination format if there are only 8 teams. It should work fine if you will use bo1 format in losers bracket and bo3 in winners bracket + if you will move the grand final to the next day. Whole cup will last only 1 more day (actually 1.5 h more) but there will be 2x more matches/fun. Another possibility is to start 1.5 h earlier and we'll finish it in 1 day if it's not too much maps to play for teams who will reach the grand final.
