Valve[ OPERATION BROKEN FANG ]
– For a limited time, Broken Fang Premier is available for everyone.
– Operation Broken Fang Passholders will play in Prime Account Status queue when matchmaking for Broken Fang Premier.
[ MISC ]
– Fixed Steam networking sockets implementation to dynamically load “wlanapi.dll” system library and to work on Windows Server systems which don’t have Wireless LAN Service enabled.
– Adjusted Zeus texture to read Zeus X-27. For the record, this counts as a Zeus skin.
Rumor has it:
- This is what the Zeus X-27's texture used to look like before, and this is what it looks like as of tonight's update
- Very subtle, right? You may spot something even more subtle, in that "ZUESS" has been corrected to read "ZEUS", eliminating a double-typo
- If it looks like a skin, has an item schema entry like a skin, and has a wear rating like a skin, then it probably is a skin. Sadly, a Zeus texture tweak isn't actually a skin. The only item schema change in this one is a coupon prefab tweak for the Poorly Drawn Stickers Capsule
- But with that said, your memes can still be dreams
- To round it off, here's a peek at the networking changes and a helping of translations, the latter of which is made possible in part by contributions from Translators Like You - Thank You: https://github.com/SteamDatabase/GameTracking-CSGO/commit/ce1528dad1ae688f3b4e909364b27609143e301f

Valve[ STORE ]
– As a cross-promotion with Supergiant Games, owners of Hades on Steam, after they accrue sufficient playtime in the game, will receive The Hades Music Kit in CS:GO.
– Two new music kits – “The Lowlife Pack” by Neck Deep, and “CHAIN$AW.LXADXUT” by Scarlxrd – are now available for purchase in-game.
– Added the Poorly Drawn Sticker Capsule featuring a variety of poorly drawn stickers.
Rumor has it:
- Descriptions that go along with each of the 3 music kits added today are as follows:
- Darren Korb, Hades Music Kit: "Sure, you might miss a shot from time to time, but what never misses is this blood-pumping Music Kit straight from the Underworld of Hades, Supergiant's rogue-like dungeon crawler."
- Neck Deep, The Lowlife Pack: Prove you are not a normie (and better than everyone else on the map) with Neck Deep's new music kit, which includes songs from the band's album All Distortions Are Intentional.
- Scarlxrd, CHAIN$AW.LXADXUT.: "CHAIN$AW BRINGS SCARLXRD AT HIS UNPRECENDENTED BEST WITH A RAW FLOW AND A HEAVY TRACK TO MATCH."
- Just like the Half-Life: Alyx Music Kit, Hades Music Kit is not available in StatTrak
- Here are each of the Poorly Drawn Stickers by /u/HH110011HH and Hoxton, which is itself in a Poorly Drawn Sticker Capsule:
- Poorly Drawn Ava (& (Holo))
- Poorly Drawn Balkan (& (Holo))
- Poorly Drawn Bloody Darryl (& (Holo))
- Poorly Drawn Chicken (& (Holo))
- Poorly Drawn FBI (& (Holo))
- Poorly Drawn IDF (& (Holo))
- Poorly Drawn Leet Crew (& (Holo))
- Poorly Drawn Number K (& (Holo))
- Poorly Drawn SAS (& (Holo))
- Poorly Drawn Terrorist (& (Holo))
- Dialogue of the final Operation Broken Fang boss mission has been translated into a few additional languages (specifically French, Greek, Polish, Portuguese, Russian, Spanish, and a small bit of Bulgarian) along with some other additional string translations, which as always is made possible in part by contributions from Translators Like You - Thank You
- Size is close to 50 MB
This is exactly why Valve needs to be kicked in the rear-end to actually enforce COPPA or the age-gating provisions of EU GDPR, whichever is greater. It leads to dumb bullshit like this that is just a waste of everyone's time. That's it, that's my two cents on it, any other questions, see:

Valve[ MISC ]
– Fixed “env_fade” entities for “only triggering player” configuration.
– Added vscript function ScriptTraceLinePlayersIncluded.

– Fixed nodraw behind CT Spawn (Thanks Mii Fanboy)
– Fixed various spots where players could get stuck on walls (Thanks @FilyandraXBL, Mii Fanboy, Kerluck, @goodchicken45)
Rumor has it:
- The final boss map for Operation Broken Fang, "Cultivating Trouble", has been added in in advance of tomorrow's set of final missions, including script changes and logic additions, materials and textures, sounds, as well as strings for dialogue (spoilers within, if it wasn't obvious!)
- Beyond that, there's also a healthy dose of localization in various languages, made possible in part by contributions from Translators Like You - Thank You

It's gonna be kind of crazy to think that late this year that I'll have been going at this gig of mine for 10 straight years. Even though the glory days of the at-least-once-weekly updates are long behind us, it's been quite the ride that I've been happy to share. And really, thank you all for your readership, and especially thanks to those of you that do your own digging as well. Without you, getting quality information out to the masses, preferably in a hurry, would be a tough ask. It's a true team effort.
ZestyThe way Facepunch handled bans was extremely entertaining. I miss that website.
Most of us have moved on to Knockout after Garry decided to be Garry and kill off the old forums. It's a fair bit more relaxed over there, though most of the fracases these days are about whether you can even say this or that word at all. A lot more open than FP ever was even if a bunch of the userbase doesn't like the POV of some of the mods there (most of which are different, I think really the only carryover is OvB). I don't really hold any hard feelings, that post of mine was really a knee-jerk thing that was influenced heavily by a near-B&E experience a long, long time ago when I was much younger. It was actually around one of the nicer areas of Tyndall Park too, closer to King Edward if I'm remembering right, pretty much right across from Stanley Knowles, but even then the cops dragged their ass horribly to even take a statement from what I was told.

Valve[ Misc ]
– Fixed a bug that allowed enemy players to spawn outside of their spawn location.
– Fixed a case where players would see a second bomb in retakes mode.
– Fixed some cases where dropped weapons exited the play area.

- To tell you the honest truth, this one is as boring as it looks, just a protobuf addition and a small shot of translations, the latter part of which is made possible in part by contributions from Translators Like You - Thank You

Via HLDS:
Valve- Added a round timer to cp_powerhouse
- Updated/Added some tournament medals
- Updated the localization files
Rumor has it:
- In case you haven't seen it elsewhere already: the Luxembourg server cluster (also referred to as EU West in Dota 2 and CS:GO) has been decommissioned last week in favor of a new cluster in Frankfurt, Germany
- However, at this time, the new Frankfurt cluster is not currently able to be matched to in TF2, and you will likely notice higher than usual latencies for the time being while the game's matchmaker places you on a nearby cluster like Madrid or Stockholm
- If you're a Dota 2 and/or CS:GO player just passing by, no action is required
- /u/pikatf2 says that some function changes strongly suggest a bug with Strange weapons not counting kills in parts of Halloween maps where you get turned into a ghost after dying (TF_COND_HALLOWEEN_IN_HELL) has been fixed
- Not a lot of tournament medal additions as far as the tournaments that were added, which are as follows:
- NHBL Season 10 (Natascha Heavyweight Champion, Sasha Heavyweight Champion, 2nd Place, 3rd Place, 4th Place, Participant)
- EBL Invite Season 5 (1st Place, 2nd Place, 3rd Place, Participant)
- EBL Main Season 5 (1st Place, 2nd Place, 3rd Place, Participant)
- EBL Open Season 5 (1st Place, 2nd Place, 3rd Place, Participant)
- Maintainers of custom HUDs will probably want to check for some funny business in leaderboards
- Several items have had their "Of"s in their names turned lowercase, including the Towering Pillar of Summer Shades, Spirit of Giving, The Full Head of Steam, Pile of Ash, Voodoo-Cursed Bag of Quicklime, Pile of Curses, Get Out of The Locker!, Wall of Pain, Brim-Full of Bullets, Melody of Misery, and Head of Defense
- The "Process of Elimination" achievement also had its "Of" turned lowercase
- The same is also true of The Ivan the Inedible, which had its second "The" turned lowercase, as well as a string for disabling HTML MOTDs that had its "Of The" turned into "of the"
- If you'd like to have a peek at the delicious localization file updates, here they are. As always, these are made possible in part by the efforts of Translators Like You - Thank You

SOOOOOAPYMEISTERnot wickedplayer, dont care.
Well at least OP got the date right on this one. Someone did one on /r/GO for last night's tiny update and although they did pretty alright by doing it as a text post, they screwed up the date so that it was actually a day in the future.
Originally I thought I'd just pass on it here but the RHI section is actually looking a little beefier to the point where it's probably worthwhile anyway. I'll put it up when I've got it all done and the only thing left to do is turn Markdown into BBCode. Something I've been giving a little bit of thought into over the last little while is having a CMS of sorts where I can just style things the way I want once, and then have both Markdown and BBCode varieties spit out from it, maybe even automatically, so I can just edit once instead of effectively having to re-do whole RHI bullets. That's something that's a bit of a PITA especially on the CS:GO side with lots of new items.
Speaking of which, VACnet when.
